Our Wedding

Justin and Patriya first crossed paths in high school back in 2005, where a shared sense of humor, mutual interests, and a spark of something special quickly brought them together. From that moment on, they became inseparable, embarking on a beautiful journey that has only grown stronger over the years.   Their adventures have taken them across the country with their dog, Zelda, with stints in vibrant New York City, rainy yet charming Seattle, sun-soaked Orange County, and now the bustling city of Los Angeles. Through all the moves, new jobs, and changes, they’ve remained each other’s constant—partners in every sense of the word.   Even after nearly two decades of love, laughter, and memories, Justin and Patriya wanted to make their commitment official. They decided it was finally time to bring their closest friends and family together for a celebration that has been years in the making—the moment when they, at last, tie the knot! This event is not just a wedding but a tribute to the love that has grown and flourished through all the seasons of their lives.

The Monterey, California area has a ton of stuff to do when you're not busy with wedding activities. The world famous Monterey Bay Aquarium is a great family friendly activity, and there is a lot of tourist attractions in town such as Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf. It's close to many redwood forests (Henry Cowell State Park), beautiful beaches (Point Lobos, Big Sur), and much more for those looking for outdoorsy. Carmel-by-the-Sea nearby has a lot of upscale shopping and restaurants. If you're up for a road trip, around 1 hour north is Silicon Valley and 2 hours north is San Francisco and the Muir Woods (more redwoods &amp; hiking).
